Embracing Sustainability at Gresham Blake
At Gresham Blake, we believe that sustainability is not just a trend — it's a commitment to continuous improvement in every aspect of our business. Our mission is to design and create products that meet the highest standards of quality and style while prioritising environmental responsibility every step of the way.

Our Journey Towards Sustainability
With decades of experience and craftsmanship, combined with a world-class supply chain team, we craft beautifully engineered clothing designed to last. From the moment we conceive a product to the moment it reaches our customers, we strive to minimise our ecological footprint. This means making innovative design choices, responsibly sourcing materials, and implementing waste reduction strategies. Every decision is an opportunity to refine our practices and lead in climate-positive initiatives within the clothing industry.

Spotlight on the 45 Collection
One of our proudest achievements is the 45 Collection. Each suit in this line incorporates the equivalent of 45 recycled plastic bottles, made from recycled polyester. By preventing plastic waste from entering our oceans and landfills, we take a significant step toward sustainable fashion. Our commitment doesn’t stop there; our exceptional supply chain team continuously pursues fabric innovations that enhance the sustainability of our garments.

1 Suit - 1 suit prevents 45 plastic bottles from reaching landfills or oceans.
15 Suits - A team of 15 wearing Gresham Blake suits prevents 675 bottles from ending up in landfills.
150,000 Suits - Our partner warehouse holds 150,000 suits, and with 95% of garments made from recycled materials, we've prevented 6,412,500 plastic bottles from polluting our planet.
The Heart of Our Workshops
We firmly believe that meticulously designed and high-quality products not only last longer but also inspire greater care and appreciation. That’s why we advocate for extending the lifespan of our garments, aligning with the principles of Slow Fashion. This movement encourages mindful consumption, urging consumers to invest in fewer, high-quality pieces produced sustainably.
To ensure we uphold these values, we partner exclusively with ethical workshops. For instance, our primary workshop is B Corp-certified and actively drives sustainability through projects that focus on reducing CO2 emissions. One such initiative is a tree plantation program, which enhances biodiversity while contributing to carbon sequestration.
Sustainable Fabrics for a Greener Future
Our commitment to responsible production extends across our entire value chain. We work closely with fabric and trim suppliers to develop innovative materials that deliver sustainable, high-quality products. Our focus on certified and traceable materials, eco-friendly chemicals, and recycled options ensures transparency throughout our manufacturing processes. We continually research and supply the latest sustainable innovations to our customers.
Empowering People Through Sustainability
At Gresham Blake, people are at the core of our sustainability initiatives. We collaborate with workshops that prioritise employee development and education. A shining example of this is our Female Supervisor Leadership Program, which offers in-house training for female workers, empowering them with the skills needed to excel in leadership roles. Initiatives like this are crucial for recognising and uplifting women in the workplace, ensuring they thrive in their careers.
Sustainability is more than just a buzzword at Gresham Blake; it’s a guiding principle that shapes our journey toward a more responsible future. We invite you to join us in our commitment to sustainability and celebrate the beauty of fashion that cares for our planet and its people. Together, we can make a difference!
