Our sartorial journey with Joel Dommett began in our Brighton bespoke showrooms. Joined by his wife Hannah, we set out to create suits that would resonate with Joel's charismatic presence on screen. This collaboration was a harmonious blend of Joel's personal style and Gresham Blake's innovative tailoring ethos.
The Design Process
The initial consultation was a deep dive into Joel's fashion preferences and personality. We discussed everything from his favourite colours and patterns to the specific styles that make him feel most confident. Our designer worked closely with Joel and his stylist, exploring various concepts, sketching out initial ideas and experimenting with different fabric swatches. Each suit was a product of extensive discussions, from the cut and fit to the finer details like button selection and lining textures. The Suits on Screen
Since the series returned in December 2023, Joel's suits have been a central point of discussion on social media. One standout creation was the blue floral ensemble, drawing inspiration from classic French Toile and reimagining it for the modern era. The suit featured a graphic floral print with swooping passion flowers, completed with a matching printed shirt for a cohesive and striking look.
