At the heart of Gresham Blake are our bespoke tailoring consultants: Nathalie, Jas, Sarah, Anthony, and George. Each brings their own unique flair to the table, ensuring that every client walks away not just with a suit, but with an experience.

Nathalie: With an eye for detail and a passion for perfection, Nathalie is the go-to for those seeking a flawless fit.

She has been with Gresham Blake for over a decade, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous work in luxury fashion. Nathalie's expertise lies in understanding the nuances of fabric and form, making sure each bespoke garment is a masterpiece. Specialising in both Men's and Women's Bespoke Tailoring, she combines technical skill with an intuitive sense of style, ensuring that every client leaves looking and feeling their best.

  

Anthony: Our trainee bespoke consultant, Anthony, may be new to bespoke tailoring, but he brings years of experience in luxury fashion. His fresh perspective and enthusiasm for learning ensure that every piece he works on is designed with the utmost care.

George: Specialising in custom-made ready-to-wear garments, George combines practicality with style. His knowledge of ready-to-wear fashion ensures that clients have access to impeccably tailored garments that are created to fit just right. George is our Gresham Blake Etch specialist. This exclusive service allows clients to design their own ready-to-wear suit, adding own personal touches and in their perfect size. It’s as cost-effective as off the peg options but tailored exclusively for each client, with a turnaround time of up to six weeks.

Reflecting on our journey, it's fascinating to see how far we've come. Gresham Blake, the brand, was born out of my husband Gresham's passion for fashion, which he honed while studying at Brighton University. After graduating, he gained valuable experience working with high-end bespoke tailors on Savile Row. However, his dream was to open his own shop in Brighton.

 

When 20 Bond Street came up for grabs, Gresham and I made the bold decision to sell our house and invest everything into our new venture in 1999. Many advised against it, arguing that Brighton wasn’t a suit-wearing city. But we had a vision: to create a tailoring brand that was inclusive and accessible to all, making people feel good as well as look good.

 

Over the years, we have built up a loyal clientele from all walks of life—rock stars, politicians, and everyone in between. The exclusive shop in the heart of Brighton offers an experience like no other in bespoke tailoring. The Brighton store remains the head office, housing our production and design teams, as well as an in-house mini workshop.

 

In addition to bespoke tailoring, we offer limited runs of ready-to-wear items. Our bestsellers include printed shirts and jacquard ties, beloved by clients for their unique designs and impeccable quality.
