How It Works...
Where Are We Based?
Our bespoke tailoring services are available in Brighton and London. You can choose where to have your consultation, and our team works across both locations to ensure the same high level of service wherever you visit.
Designing Your Suit
Every suit is designed around you. Choose from thousands of fabrics and personalise the details, from linings and buttons to lapels and pockets, creating something truly individual.
Cloth Selection
With an extensive range of fabrics to explore, we help you find the perfect cloth whether you’re looking for something lightweight, luxurious, or rich in texture.
Our Cloths...
At Gresham Blake, we believe exceptional tailoring begins with exceptional cloth. We work with some of the finest mills in the world, offering everything from classic worsteds and tweeds to luxurious wools and vibrant mohair.
For over 25 years we’ve built strong relationships with renowned British mills including Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Lea Brown, Dunford and Dugdale, giving our clients access to some of the best fabrics available.
City tweed remains a particular favourite for its versatility and character, while mohair brings a distinctive sharpness and elegance to a bespoke suit.
Every cloth is chosen for its quality, performance and style — the foundation of every suit we create.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
Do I have to have an appointment?
We always recommend booking an appointment in advance. We can accommodate walk-in customers in our Brighton Store but for our London store, we do require that you book an appointment in advance. You can easily book online or call us on 01273 609587. We look forward to seeing you soon.
How long will my consultation be?
We offer a two-hour consultation in a private room with a dedicated bespoke consultant. This allows you the time to discuss your ideas and consider all the options available to you. The two-hour consultation is ample time to leave with a clear vision of what you want from your bespoke experience. However, if you need more time our consultants are more than happy to accommodate this.
How long does it take to make a bespoke suit?
The process of making a bespoke suit usually takes 6-8 weeks from the moment we receive the cloth. This may change depending on the workload at different times of the year - we get exceptionally busy during Spring and Summer, so please do factor this in when you come and see us. During your initial consultation, we will give you a target date for completion. When the suit is finished, it may be necessary to have several fittings to ensure it fits perfectly.
I need a suit urgently, can you help?
We understand that there are times when you may require an urgent suit order. We offer an 'express suit order service' and can, upon request, make a Bespoke Suit within a short time. We have a UK workshop with a team of expert tailors and craftsmen. This service may cost more than a regular suit order, but we guarantee that the quality of the suit will be of the same high standards. (Our express charges are available upon request)
I have a specific design in mind, can you make it for me?
Our Bespoke tailoring consultants are experts in the craft of personalized tailoring, and they will work with you to guarantee that your suit is precisely as you desire. If you want to, you can bring in garments or pictures to inform us of what you like and don't like. With a range of fabric and style options, we can create a bespoke tailoring experience that is truly unique and personalised.
What fabrics do you have?
We stock all major UK mills, including Holland and Sherry, Scabal, and Dormeuil. We provide an exclusive selection of cloths that are carefully sourced from the most prestigious mills throughout the UK and Europe. Whether you are looking for classic worsteds, mohairs, or cashmeres, we have the perfect fabric for you. For those looking for something truly unique, we offer a bespoke cloth design service. Our experienced designers will work closely with you to create a fabric that meets your exact specifications. Our experienced team will help you select the perfect colour, weave and weight to create a fabric that is both individual and luxurious.
Can I bring my own cloth?
It is important to make sure that your chosen cloth is suitable for your individual requirements before commencing any garment project. The material should not only be suitable in terms of its thickness, colour and pattern, but also its ability to hold its shape without stretching or shrinking. If you are able to provide your own cloth, you must ensure it meets all these criteria. However, if you are unable to source a suitable cloth yourself, then our team is on hand to help you find the right one for your project.
How much does a bespoke suit cost?
We believe that a bespoke suit should not be an extravagance but an investment. We offer high-quality tailoring at competitive prices. Our prices start from £700 for a two-piece suit and most people spend between £800 to £1200 on a two piece suit, depending upon the fabric and the time taken to make the suit.
Do you make suits for children?
Yes. As there is no VAT on children’s clothing a 20% discount will be given. In addition, if your child is less than 1m tall we will also be able to offer special prices (as we will be using less cloth).
Do you offer group discounts?
We offer great discounts on group orders for those looking to buy multiple garments for their wedding party, corporate event, or a simple wardrobe refresh. Our group discount is here to help you save money without compromising on the quality of the garments. Our group discounts are available to anyone looking to purchase multiple garments.
What are your payment terms?
To ensure we can provide the best service possible to our clients, we require a 50% deposit. This will be applied towards your final balance. We do offer the option to pay in full upfront, at which point you will receive a 5% discount. We understand that payment terms are important to our customers and we are happy to tailor them to meet individual needs.
Can I pay in instalments?
If you want to spread the cost of your tailored garment over the time it takes to make, we can help with a payment plan. You can agree this with your Bespoke Tailoring Consultant, who will be happy to assist you.
