Cut from the official, registered Brighton & Hove tartan, this commission for the Mayor of Brighton & Hove is a piece of tailoring that truly belongs to this city.
A Portrait for Brighton Town Hall
The Mayor chose this suit for a very special occasion. An official portrait to mark the end of her mayoral year, which will be permanently hung in Brighton Town Hall. The portrait was photographed by Chris Jepson, and knowing that this suit will exist in a formal portrait for years to come made every stitch feel especially meaningful.
The Brighton & Hove Tartan
The Brighton & Hove tartan is the officially registered tartan of the city, and once you know the story behind its colours, it becomes impossible not to love it. The tartan was created to reflect the very essence of Brighton & Hove:

- White, for the sea foam that dances along the shore
- Pink, to represent the diversity, inclusivity, and bold spirit of our city
